Iam very happy with this water bottle. Ihave been looking for a travel bottle for a while, and many are REALLY flimsy. This one is not. It will stand up on its own, itis slightly wobbly but wouldnot collapse in the middle if you grasp it gently to pick it up for a drink at full expanded height.You can add 8oz of water to it when itis fully collapsed, too, which is nice if you want it compact for hopping on a short flight but still have a little water with you during the flight. Fully expanded, it will hold 16oz if youare going sightseeing or a hike. Also very happy that it doesnot have that silicone smell that many of the other bottles seem to have.
This is a really neat product and great for packing for travel when you've got limited space. It "folds" up to about the size of a coke can, and it is really easy to re-expand to its full size. I was worried it would smell like plastic/chemicals, but it doesn't.
I love these collapsible bottles...as they help me transport water around, and travel light when needed...as I have mobility issues so I cannot carry much weight easily. So with collapsible bottles I can fill it up with water, and fit it in my large pockets...and not even have to carry it when moving about the house in my loungewear. And if going out I can just stick it in my bag...and once its empty so easy to fold it back up...and takes up almost no weight or space. Awesome.
